San Luis Obispo fun!

Fun on the Central Coast!

Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting our family blog. This is Kylie! I'd like to tell you about our day. Our first activity today was going across a large bridge at the train station. I ran down the ramp with mommy.

Next we went downtown and visited the Mission. There are 21 Missions along the California coast. I learned today that the Mission in San Luis Obispo was the 5th one built in 1772. After our visit we had lunch at Mondeo. I had the Mac and Cheese platter. It was very, very creamy! But I liked it anyway!

After lunch we went to the Christian bookstore, purchased two great movies and after buying a smoothie for dessert, we went home to watch the movie, "My dog Skip". I liked it alot! But the fun didn't stop there, we got in the van and drove to the Madonna Inn. The thing I like most about the Madonna Inn is there are so many different types of rooms!

Before we left we each had a cookie...well, daddy had two! No fair daddy!!!!

I'm enjoying my vacation so much. Thank you to the Zellers for letting us stay at your house while you're away!

A trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum

Today Austin and I took a trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum. This was one of my favorite places to go as a kid and I was eager to share it with Austin. We visited the Old Milwaukee exhibit, walking through a turn of the century town recreated by the museum. Austin liked it a lot. There was a great Native American experience as well and Austin and I soaked it all in. Tonight we're heading to the Bucks game.

Great day in Milwaukee!

This has been an incredible day. I'll spend time tomorrow morning writing about our experience. In the meantime,enjoy the pictures!

Wisconsin Avenue!

Hi, this is Austin and I'm going to update today's blog post. Ready? We went sledding today with Uncle Justin and little Ian. First we had to buy some warm boats for me so we went to Target. Then we went to this big hill. No one was there but us. On the first run, I hit a jump and I flew over it. It's a good thing I landed on my butt and not my head!

Dad and I raced together. I had the red saucer and he had the purple sled. Mine was faster and I won! But my dad did a good job anyway.

Yesterday afternoon I picked Austin up from school and we headed to the airport. We checked in for our flight with Frontier Airlines, getting through security rather quickly and made it to the gate. Our flight to Milwaukee was really smooth. Austin and I played Uno, watched a video and read our books. We arrived to Milwaukee at 10:30pm. The temperature was 4 degrees and felt like it. We drove out to New Berlin where we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. This morning we're heading to Madison to spend a fun day with Austin's cousins; Ben, Cami and Ian!
